Territory Sales Manager
MOD is looking for a Territory Sales Representative!
MOD, a leader in power and lighting components for furniture in the workplace, hospitality, education furniture industry is seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our team as a Territory Sales Representative. This candidate will work to promote our products by working with our sales team as well as directly with manufacturers, dealers and designers in the commercial and contract furniture industry. This position requires the ability to travel within your assigned territory, meet with prospective and existing customers, educate them on our products and services, and answer their questions about our products and services. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong desire to learn about all MOD products and services, as well as be willing to assist in developing new business opportunities within their assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
- Grow territory
- Identify and contact potential manufacturers and dealers that can utilize our products
- Follow up with current and past customers and track in CRM
- Follow up with trade show leads
- Develop new business
- Manage territory sales including hiring and firing independent reps
- Must be willing to travel to see customers, exhibit at tradeshows
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of sales or marketing experience, preferably in commercial and contract furniture
- Proficient in CRM software to manage contacts, project and forecasting
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Familiarity with industry trade shows like NeoCon a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing or related field
- Ability to create and present product presentations in both formal and informal settings
