The successful IT Help Desk Technician will be responsible for utilizing their skills in resolving technical problems within the PeopleSpace Organization that cover many technical disciplines. PeopleSpace is seeking an individual who is willing to work hard while maintaining a high level of internal customer experience delivery. For our IT team to be successful, we must see no job is too small and no challenge as too big! The IT Help Desk Technician will provide level 1support to our end users through their extensive knowledge of PeopleSpace systems and operations.

Job Type: Full-time, hourly – non-exempt

 Specific responsibilities include:

 •         Provide Level 1 support for technical issues across our environment, with a focus on end-user experience

•         Effectively manage inbound support requests via ticket system and emails and escalation for general IS-related issues.

•         Support current and changing aspects of our IT environment, including Windows / Chrome workstations, Office 365, mobile devices, audio/visual equipment, printers, networking, etc.

•         Support for NetSuite, basic telecom (VoIP & Mobile devices), and other tools utilized by the organization

•         Follows Standard Operating Procedures and Policies. Recommends changes to SOPs and Procedures as needed. Writes instructional documentation as required

•         Preparation of new hire equipment (build/configure new hire laptops) and support the People team at new hire orientation

•         Ability to work calmly in high-pressure situations and manage multiple ongoing projects.

•         Coordinate, support, and continuously improve employee onboarding

•         Provides primary support for end-users of company-wide systems and general support for complex systems

•         Receiving/inventorying of IT assets & small parts to align with Asset Management System

•         Fosters effective and collaborative working relationships with fellow employees, management, and external partners/vendors

•         Configuration and deployment of IT assets as well assisting end-users with running monthly security patching and malware/virus updates

•         Removal of IT assets from employees who have been offboarded

•         Reads pertinent literature to improve technical knowledge and maintain awareness and understanding of developments related to current or anticipated projects and product

•         Demonstrate PeopleSpace's core values and the attributes that support these core values

Qualifications + Skills:

•         Minimum of 2 years of configuring and installing computer hardware and software

•         Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications as well as Windows 10 and the Adobe Suite

•         Demonstrable ability to work and make decisions independently in a fast-paced production environment

•         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•         High school diploma or equivalent

•         Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

•         World-class customer service skills

•         History of supporting users remotely

•         Great attention to detail

•         Excellent communication skills

•         Experience with support ticket management and tracking

•         Basic knowledge of audio/video troubleshooting and support

•         Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities
